
Parsnips...the name makes me smile. I also really like the vegetable...or root...or whatever the technical genere is. Ever had them? If you've ever spent any time in England, you probably have. If not, perhaps you've never ventured out to try these white carrots. Well, if you like trying new things, I would recommend you give parsnips a go. Sweet and somewhat chewy, my favorite means of preparation is to cut them up into strips and roast them on a baking sheet. Put some seasoning salt on for extra flavor. If you find you don't like them, just invite me over...I'll polish them off for ya!
