personal training
Okay, so Ben and I (along with about 40 other staff here at YWAM Denver) are getting personal fitness training by one of the staff here. (Just for the record, don't worry...I am not doing this to lose weight- just to get back into shape) It's great to have specific exercises as well as accountability on the matter. But, it's no walk in the park. Any of you who know me know I'm generally into nutrition and eating right. So, in theory, the nutriton part of this plan should be a no-brainer for me, right? Wrong! Lately, I've been bad about my eating habits and have really given up caring about nutrition altogether. Okay, that's an exaggeration. But, you get my point. Anyway, in this new plan, we are supposed to eat in proportion of 20% protein, 60% carbs, and 20% fat. I'm here to tell you, it's hard! But good. I'm really enjoying this plan so far and it's made me be more conscious about what I eat, how often I exercise, and how intensely I need to exercise to get results.
